about the cavegirls

New York: Jenn
I started implementing Paleo principles into my lifestyle at an 80/20 ratio in 2009 and progressively increased to a completely paleolithic lifestyle- save the occasional cheat. One thing that really helped me in my progression is my simultaneous introduction turned addiction to Crossfit, and the support and knowledge the CF community provided (particularly CF Generation and CF Westchester, and my lovely sister and brother-in-law). I love to nom on pastries and all things bread, but now I like to save my "cheats" for those make your tummy tingle delights. Cooking and baking are like therapy to me so I like to experiment in the kitchen and hope to share my creations with you... the good, bad, and the ugly.

Oh and one more thing... GO MEAT

California:Tiffany
I've been Paleo for about 2 years. Self-proclaimed pastry lover and CrossFit enthusiast, I found the Paleo lifestyle to be the most effective in terms of maintaining health and wellness, and getting oh-so-close to that six-pack. I LOVE FOOD. All food. Especially the stuff that's bad for you. Don't think I don't appreciate a donut or a 1,500 calorie slice of cheesecake, but I've learned the difference between a good whole meal versus a highly indulgent once-in-awhile treat. I like to keep things simple in the kitchen and want to share my easy creations and random meanderings here. It's not all gonna be pretty, but experimentation and bacon keep things interesting.
